Someone you can hang out with,
Have fun with and depend on.
Someone always there,
To provide comfort and security
In your hour of need.

Someone who fills you with merriment,
Adds joy to your life
Someone to share your happiness and sorrows.
A stormproof shelter,
A helping hand to overcome challenges.

Someone who’s special
And so close in thought.
Someone who loves
When everyone else has let you down.

A friend… is what you are to me.

On Calvary, my Lord was crucified,
Upon the cross, He bled for me,
‘Twas love that placed Him there,
To take away my sins, and set me free.

O dark Calvary!
Where Christ shed His blood for me:
O blessed Calvary!
There my Saviour died for me.

On your behalf, help me speak,
Thy words for the world to hear,
O Lord, help me speak of You –
Of Your love, without fear.

O dark Calvary!
Where Christ showed His love for me:
O blessed Calvary!
There my Redeemer set me free.

The old rugged cross,
See there the Lamb!
Tortured and crucified
To save the lonely and the lost.

With a slain Lamb,
God quelled the lion of hell.
Oh that the Church of Christ
Would rise up in the name of the son.

Sins will be remembered no more;
Salvation from the guilt;
Fear hath torment;
Calvary covers it all.

The earth and everything in it is the Lord’s
The world and all its people belong to Him.
For He laid on the seas, the earth’s foundation
And built it on the ocean depths.

Open up, ancient gates!
Open up, ancient doors,
And let the King of glory enter.
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord, strong and mighty;
The Lord, invincible in battle.

Who may climb the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in His holy place?
Only those whose hands and hearts are pure,
Who don’t trust in idols and never tell lies.

Open up, ancient gates!
Open up, ancient doors,
And let the King of glory enter.
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord of Heaven’s Armies—
He is the King of glory.

They will receive the Lord’s blessing
And vindication from God their saviour.
Such people may seek You
and worship in Your presence, O God.

“Blessing and honour
And glory and power
Belong to the one
Sitting on the throne
And to the Lamb
Forever and ever.”

Had we forgotten something?
Beyond the trees with presents below,
The lights, glitter and mistletoes
Have we lost the reason
Why we celebrate each year?
What is Christmas without Christ?

Remember how the story goes,
Beneath the star, one holy night,
The greatest gift in swaddling clothes.
The shepherds heard the angels sing,
The wise men brought the offerings,
Peace on Earth began in Bethlehem.

What is Christmas?
If there was no babe in the manger;
If no angels sang from the realms of glory;
If there was no peace on earth.
What is Christmas without Christ?

There’d be no Gloria in Excelsis Deo
No Joy to the world
And no Feliz Navidad

This is Christmas,
It’s all about the Savior in the manger.
This is Christmas,
Because of Jesus Christ!

And so this is Christmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let’s stop all the fight…

A long time ago, one dark night
A star in the East shining bright
Shepherds sitting out on a hill
Watching their sheep lying still
The wise men began to ride on their camels
Didn’t know how far and wide
Followed the star to a stall
There found the greatest gift of all

Over the years things have changed
We have lost the real meaning
Of Christmas and one special night
Amidst the lights, glitter and golden ribbons,
We forget about the child, born on a night so cold.
Instead of celebrating his birth
And praising his presence in the earth
We’ve turned this day into a fairy tale.

God loved His own
And provided a way—the only Way
For us to spend eternity with Him
Gave His one and only Son
To take our punishment for our sins.
He paid the price in full,
And we are free from condemnation
when we accept that free gift of love.

The true meaning of Christmas is
The celebration of this incredible act of love.
For this is the only reason that
We should celebrate this day,
To become focused on anything else,
Would take the meaning away.
Merry Christmas,don’t mean the same
if it ain’t in Jesus’ name.
